Museum 2015: The Agile Museum

Museum 2015, The Agile Museum: Building Institutions for Continual Change was held at Meiji University in Tokyo, Japan on 13-16 January 2015. Attracting a diverse audience of museum practitioners, leaders and policy makers, researchers, academics and students, Museum 2015 was the fourth in a series of successful international conferences – The Museum 2010, Museum 2011: Building Identity and Museum 2012: The Socially Purposeful Museum – which stand at the leading edge of museum studies, informed by the latest practice in museums from around the world.

This is an archive of resources from the conference, including the programme, keynote and conference presentations, workshop and panel details.

Museum 2015 was organised in collaboration between the School of Arts and Letters, Meiji University, The Museological Society of Japan, Tokyo National Museum, National Museum of History, Taiwan, Otsuma Women’s University Museum Facility, Otsuma Women’s University, National Taipei University of Education and the School of Museum Studies, University of Leicester.
